I was at a small pond in the local mountains recently and tried some pan blurs with the reeds that were growing there. Using the 400mm f/5.6 at f/32 left me with lots of dust spots to clean up by hand. Nothing special done in pp other than the dust mop application.

Kerry, I love the pattern and I think that thE diagonal lines that fade into the BG are special. Might be fun to punch up the color for another look. Well done.

Nice blur Kerry, I like the diagonal lines going both ways and the earth tones.

    Hey Kerry,
I always find these abstract interesting. Did you take a lot of these.....like me.....to get one you liked? It would be interesting to see the bolder colors like Dennise suggested.....as I am a bold color kind of guy;)....but I do find the subtle tones in this very nice and not sure I would want the bolder ones! Nicely seen and done!

I agree with what others said. The lines and hues are very nice. I would like to see the colors punched up a bit also.

Kerry, I like the woven look this has - it's very organic and the colors are earthy and nice.

Hi Kerry. I also like the diagonal lines across the vertical ones. You might punch up the color a bit.

Survey says - "more color please" and I am happy to oblige. I hope I didn't go too far with it. When I was originally working on this one I tried several different levels of saturation, including - none. I think I like it as a b&w also...

Thank you for all the kind comments!

P.S. - Roman, yes I did take a few of these - about thirty I think. It's really pretty cool, swinging the camera around and all... People look at you funny, but I'm used to it. :D
