Just a slight in camera blur, did a vignette and used some NIK filters, and Orton.

Hey Jackie, I was looking at this for some time and finally put my finger on it. I took a slight bit off the bottom and some off the left. This put the "v" of the 2 grasses more in the ROT. I like the soft colors and the blur. I didn't bother removing the black border that was left.

Hi Jackie, I think I like the crop that Denise made. It does move the point of focus away from the center. It is a different and interesting blur. Looks like something should be nesting in there...

Thanks for the comments, I am undecided about the crop. Will look at it some more.

    Hey Jackie,
Never been shy of the crop tool myself....but in this case I like the OP....as the grass on the left frames the scene to me. Very effective use of the Orton too.....nice luxury to have multiple crop choices! Nicely done!

I am still sticking to my repost. I feel the left grasses are a bit distracting. But that is why the forum is great everyone has their own idea of what looks good. :)

You know I agree......what surprised me most.....was I didn't want the crop!:D That in itself is very rare!!! I do think that in OOTB....a lot more subjectivity comes into play......although pondering that......we never say anyone has to agree with us! All we do is suggest options IMO.

Score another one for the repost. I am, however, confused. Jackie, why did you label this Weekly Theme? It is not a zoom blur...

It is a zoom blur Artie, just a light one, can't you tell from the grass. The center is in focus and the grasses are radiating outward and blurred by the zoom. If it is not zoomy enough just remove it from the theme.
