Default Zoom Blur in Camera - A wild ride

These are potted flowers in my garden that I took in the spring. I cropped, and used Topaz
Adjust, Mild Details. No saturation - they were really this color.

    7D, 100-400L, f/40, 1/4sec., ISO 200

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated:)

I really like the colours and the blur Cheryl, I might play around with different crops, so that the flower is more off center.

Cheryl, I love this. It is one of your best!! The colors and amount of blur are perfect. The slight squiggly lines really add to this. If I was to be picky I might create a layer and get some detail in the fushia at the left of center flower and bottom center. Great job!!:)

Super blur Cheryl. I love the squiggly lines too! I'm not sure what to think about the crop, I might want to move the somewhat centered flower along the diagonal toward the ULC just a bit. Very nice image!

Thank you all so much.:) Blurs are really my favorite thing to do so I'm glad you all liked it. Denise, I don't know why the fuschia patches look funny - I need to go back and see if it was Topaz that created them - I selected them and added noise and
up close they looked much better than they do as a big image. I also had tried different crops but this one included all of the flowers that I thought added to the look.

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

    Like the colors and patterns.

If I were to crop it, as suggested above, I might try to minimize the green open area on the RB. Just a suggestion, as that area is not consistent with the LB area. But, as they always say ... ;)
