You must be getting tired of my recent spate of cheetah postings...but they were really just SOOO good to me in the Kgalagadi recently. I think I have more cheetah files from that 11-day trip than of all other animals combined (maybe an exaggerated statement, but you get the point).

This is a closer zoom and few frames after my previous post of this guy (http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...move...(colour)).

Morkel - I like the comp, the slinking/stalking pose and the blue sky. And I never get tired of cheetah shots.

Great colours Morkel and the stance of the Cheetah shows a real look of intent.

I like "animal on ridge line" shots and this one is no exception. A nice simple composition, the raised bag leg gives it a nice little sense of motion.

    Morkel,

Great image, I would "remove" some of the grass under the chin, but I know you do not like to clone.

    Wonderful sky.

Great intense stalking pose here Morkel, well depicted along this ridge top and framed with that magic Kalahari sky.

Killer blue sky and nice ridge line COMP. Ken nailed the big problem: too much grass by the chin--it takes a lot away from the animal. Nice leg positions.

I really like the inclusion of that much sky, and your overall comp in general. Great pose as well... must be amazing to see these guys 'live'. ;)
