    Here is another from my morning at the Osprey nest. I had they A700 set to over expose by +1EV to capture the highlights but I think it would have been better to set it at +2/3 or +1/2. Any comments or recommendations are welcome.

    A700+Sigma 120-400mm @ 400mm
    1/800, f5.6, ISO400, +1EV

    Jeff, this one looks much better to me. I thin EXP wise you did well, you got eye contact, nice wing pose and good skies. IS this one of this year's juveniles?

    Thanks Fabs. I am really not sure if this is a juvenile or not. There are 4 Osprey on this island and they continue to fly around looking for food and then perching at different places. When I first found the nest I thought I saw 4 but maybe there were only 2 or 3 since its hard to keep an eye on them all at the same time. During the morning I found another 2 nests, one on another island and the second on mainland. I will post another (#3 of 4) tomorrow morning.

    This is an obvious fresh juvenile. Note the evenly patterned feathers of the wings with their white spots and edges. Sharp, and considering that the light was well from the left you did fairly well.
