This was shot in the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia, to which these monkeys are endemic.
It was deep in a dark forest, and I didn't want to use flash. In PP I have chosen to keep it quite dark, as the original scene. Would like to hear your thoughts.

    Canon 1D MkIII, Canon 300 f/2.8 + 1.4x, 1/125 @ f/4, ISO 1000; full frame.

Sure he is not a Pole Vaulter Ignacio? :D

Can't really say too much re colour as viewing on laptop, but I do find the face rather menacing!!!

Hi, the darkness doesn't bother me because it draws our attention to the menacing face where it should be. Nice image.

Face appears more nervous than menacing to my eye. I like the colors and your decision to keep it on the dark side.

Very good given the difficult circumstances.
Do you have enough IQ to go for a head and shoulders crop?

As presented for me Ignacio. Trying to lighten the image would have ruined the mood/quality and brought a ton of noise. Like the tech settings, excellent compromise Menacing looking face. Vale !!!
