Beautiful, this feels almost like a painting. Lovely soft light, colors and composition. Funny how the gull seems so integrated within the trio.

Beautiful image - mother and cub - soft light - reflections - interaction.

"gull imparts calmness" - now that really is a paradox!

    Well done!

Stuart - beautiful image. Like the interaction very much and the gull takes it over the top.

Beautiful image. Colors, light, detail and the three subjects add up to a nice one for me.

    Stuart,

Nothing I can say other than echo the above comments, the "curious" seagull adds greatly to the image.

I have to agree with all, this is a wonderful image, the light, the interaction between mother and cub, the gull and the claws showing all put this image over the top for me.

What an awesome image, and so much that I like here... the interaction, the tones/quality of light, the detail... congrats!
