This image, of the Osprey on a dead tree branch, was taken at Merritt Island NWR and exhibited here in another theme week. Zoom Blur was done in PP through CS4.

Modification in CS4 included; Radial Blur and Fade Radial Blur, along with normal PS adjustments.

    Enjoy!

Mark, Nice pose and the BG color looks good. I may have composed this a little differently but the image has a nice soft appeal. Maybe a round of sharpening to the face.

I like it Mark. Has a serene feel to it. I might lighten the eyes a bit.

Mark, I like the way you did the blur - it's very calming. And the Osprey looks very regal.

Mark, I like this one a lot. The direction and amount of the zoom effect works really well with the low shooting angle. If you had the canvas to work with I think moving the bird up in the frame would add to the look. Well done.

Mark, Love the regal pose. The blur adds to the regal feel too. Looks a little tight on the bottom. I might try opening up the darks on the bird a little more if possible.

Thanks for viewing and comments, Christopher. Appreciate it.

I tired to fix the dark areas, but found it was created by the zoom blur effect. Anything I did made it worse.

    The original image is sharp.
