    Default Peregrine Falcon in rainstorm

The heavy rain does not display as well as I had hoped.
I would appreciate opinions on the leg bands.

    D3, 600vr plus 1.4x, f/8, 1/200, iso1600, no NR applied.

Phil, loved the alert pose and the comp. nice tension. I am fine with bands. NR on Bg will improve it a lot. Thx for sharing.

Intense eye contact, great EXP and details, You need at least, 1/320 for the rain to show. I'm fine with the bands too, I don;t usually remove them if they are there.

Phil, I love the intense look and have often wished that bands were not so obvious because they detract from the natural beauty of any bird. And I'm surprised how many birds are banded all over the world. That said, I wouldn't remove them. Great capture, by the way.

When I see leg bands I always have to wonder if the bird is captive or wild -- so -- the leg bands do distract me -- otherwise I like the bird as presented and the perch is interesting

I like the eye contact and mood in here. Would get rid of the bands.

Phil, a great and clear pose; I like it. One vote for not removing the bands.

    Hi,
Very nice pose with excellent exposure and deltail. Lower SS helps to make artistic mood with extensive rain drops.

nice detail. Bird feels a little cramped on the top, perhaps a little more room for the bird to "potential" raise its head a little. I love shooting in the rain as it gives a very different mood to the subject.
