    By popular demand here is a B & W.
    Processed in Nik Color Effex Pro 2 which only works in CS3.

    Taken at Kennedy 2 waterhole, Hwange National Park, 28th June 2010

    EOS 1D MkIV

    500mm F4 IS hand-held from vehicle

    F6.3, ISO 800, 1/3200

    Hi Ken Like the conversion very much has a good feel Can't think of a better image for it other than picking an ele !!! ... might increase contrast a bit? .. not on a calibrated monitor right now !!

    Ken - like it a lot. I agree with Al that I think it needs a contrast boost (aren't you and Steve usually telling me that on zebra shots?) :)

    Very nice Ken, the composition and feel of the image is very good.

    I agree that it needs some contrast or additional USM to make the stripes stand out a little more.

    Thanks for the comments, I am totally new to B& W conversions and really had no idea what I was doing.

    Welcome to the dark side Ken!!
    This has good potential, like the comp with the Oxpecker? jockeys, it does need some USM on the Zebra and some light reduction on the top section of BG.

    Hmmm....wonder why, I had no trouble transferring from CS3 to 4 and now CS5?
