I like the eye contact, sharpness and droplets. The image needs some CW rotation and I wish the wings were all the way up.

Agree to the rotation, loved the sharpness, nice light and angle too.. the water droplets puts this over the top..

Nice colours, and I like the water drops action. Agree with CW rotation, and on my monitor the image seems a bit oversharpened (see halos around face and neck and upper back for evidence). I'd also prefer the flamingo lower in the frame.

I love the colours and water droplets. If you decide on teh needed CW rotation perhaps you can include Dan's suggestion and remove some water below the bird but you'll likely need to add a bit more shoreline above it to replace the lost water.

Jan, there is much that I like about this image. Starting with the exposure, you did a great job of retaining the details in the lighter areas of the image. I like the colors and the pose of the bird. Given the choice between a higher angle (to remove the shoreline clipping across the wing) and the lower angle that you chose, I prefer the way you did it. I do think that a tad bit of CW rotation would be good. Overall, I find this a very pleasing image and nicely done.

Gorgeous bird! The horizon is heavily tilted to the left and wish the wings were totally open, in either direction. Pinks and reds look very good and so does sharpening. Thanks so much for sharing.

A beautiful bird with gorgeous colors. I like the water splash and think you handled the harsh sun very well. I agree that it needs the CCW rotation and I also see what looks likes sharpening halos.
