    I was out on the St. Lawrence for a few hours Sunday and went to the near by Osprey nest to shoot.

    A700+Sigma 120-400mm

    1/800, f5.6, ISO400, 400mm, Handheld

    Looks nice and sharp to me, and I like the backlit tail feathers. The only thing bothering me is the dark feathers on the right vs the light feathers on the left. The left feathers look dodged. How do you like your a700?

    I love the a700. There were 4 Osprey on this island. They would fly over mostly keeping me shooting into the sun so when I had a shot I took it. More to come tomorrow.

    I think the image is slightly overexposed, since most of the whites have no details and there;s a cyan cast to them also. Sharp and I live the light coming through the fanned tail. WIll be looking forward to more!

    Hi Jeff Do post the exposure compensation to figure what you were trying to do here !!! Difficult getting detail underneath with the image back lit !! Agree with Fab's assessments and looking forward to the next !!!
