Took this in a River Birch tree in our back-yard. He is not as easy to photograph as one might think. He often uses this branch to overlook our feeder and attacks any other hummingbird that tries to eat from "his" feeder.

Nice, sharp, well exposed image of the bird. Background and foreground a bit too distracting for me. Did you clone out something in the right lower region?

To answer your question about the lower right region. No I didn't clone out anything. I think there were some leaves in front of the bird that blurred with the 600mm lens. Thanks again for your thoughts on my image.

Hey Mac, hope you are doing OK. Nice little creeter you got yourself here. IMO, the whole image could go a bit darker and I'd be tempered to darken the borders especially, to keep the eye on the subject. Nice and sharp and the detail in the feathers will show better when it be darker :)
