    40D. 400f5.6L at f/6.3. iso 400 1/800s. early morning light.

    I was shooting a GBH in beautiful morning light and was not really set up for this shot. Heard some splashes and saw this Snowy dancing after a fish on my right side. I was not even in AI servo :-) took my chance....pointed the camera and pulled the trigger. Higher iso and higher SS would have been better.

    All C&C welcome and appreciated.

    I like the BG and the light shining through the feathers. I also like the water splash.

    Very lovely translucent wings, KD, they really pop out inn the dark BG. Good timing on your pat, and the AF worked very well!
