    Default White Ibis Walking

This was made a few months back while out on Tampa Bay with my dad. The light is a bit harsh, but there's something about the eye and the background that I like. So, I leave it in your hands. What do you think?

    Lens: Sigma 500mm f/4.5

Very nice indeed Blake. Perhaps clone out the blue in the upper left for a even tone up top? Very nice light on this guy. Keep 'em comin'!

I like the simple and strong colours in this image. I agree withe blue spot in the upper left corner. My eyes tend to look up there... and I love to look at the bird!

Very good composition, nice soft colors development, especially the white.
I would rather use at least f/8, as the end of the bird is a bit out of focus. Provided the lack of distracting background details, a f/8 wouldn't spoil the impression.

    Hello Blake,
Superb creation. As David mentioned the muted two toned background really enhances the image too. Perfect in my books and thanks for sharing.

Well Done Blake. I also like the split colors on this one. For me the small area of blue sky adds to the photo but that is just me.

    Hey Blake,

The composition works very well. This is my type of image with a lot of room. The color and exposure are on the money. The only thing I would do is to clone out the little peace of grass behind the Ibis.

We need to hang out soon!

    Blake,

Maxis had me beat! I too would clone out the little piece of grass behind him. Otherwise, I just love the deep, rich blues and greens to make him stand out.
