    Ivan, it's hard to make out details on the bird other than its shape and wing-patch. I think you were fighting distance-to-subject and also low light in the fog. If you had a 1.4x TC with your 400 mm lens, more details in the bird would show. Interesting environmental shot, though. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the mood and am not familiar with this species. You could try to adjust the black slider a bit and maybe increase contrast a few points. Thanks for sharing!

    I also like the mood and depiction of environment, however bird is too small and doesn't show details. it must be a great looking fellow up close. TFS

    I tried to bring out some details of the bird but it didn't turn out much better then this.

    Ivan, I like the mood of this very much. I think they way to go is darker, making almost a silhouette off the bird, while still keeping the fog. Thanks for sharing it.
