Ok, I just made the adjustments to my 300 2.8, +1.4 and 2.0 TC and also my 70-200 2.8 at 200mm. When I get my 500 4.0 will I also be able to make adjustments to it using the TC or do they only work on 1 lens?

What camera body do you use? The 1D models recognize if a 1.4x or 2x TC is attached and you can microadjust each of these combinations.

You can adjust each lens with each TC combination. Unlike on my Mark III, my lenses and lens/TC combos don't need any microadjustment with the Mark IV.

You can save the tweaked setting for your 500mm, 500mm with 1.4, 500mm with 1.7 and 500mm with 2.0.
