    Beautiful pose and bg. Great post for #3...sorry I missed 1 and 2.

    Gentle suggestions - tone down the whites on the head and neck to bring out more detail, and lighten/sharpen the eye to bring out the catchlight. This will gve it more pop by contrasting it with the yellow in the lores.

    Interesting composition. I find the shadows a bit distracting, too bad the sun was not behind you. It also looks a bit soft on my monitor. Keep them coming!

    Agree with Lance and Axel. I also wish for a little more DOF to get the beak in focus....

    Good tight portrait, a bit odd on the crop but it works with all the feather details. I would try focusing a bit closer like between the eyen and the base of the bill to try and get more of the bill in focus, going to 200 ISO you could use f/22. Shooting close, the DOF is almost nothing at long focal lengths.

    Exposure problems almost always arise when you work off angle to the light... Best to look for a more attractive and equally tame subject. The bill and the forehead of this individual are pretty beaten up. later and love, artie
