    It's is too fun much fun to pull the boat up to a huge rookery of egrets and shoot hundreds of photos without the birds objecting to your presence.In addition to the egrets and their babies the purple martins came to roost at sunset numbering in the thousands. One of Arkansas best kept secrets on lake ouachita.

    Beautiful pose and nice details on the wings. I might run some NR on the BG and evict the small twigs in the ULC and the 2 small spots on right hand of frame. I do wish the head of the other bird were more visible or not there-but this is a fantastic shot and I love it!

    Very nice capture at the perfect time. Agree with Denise on all suggestions. Nice that you caught the bird just before the feet touched.
