    Had one looking straight ahead and this one to side.

    A nice refreshing change of comp for this species Bill. The feeding and walking is well captured. I like the water pushing forward at the open beak and the eye contact. Did you go with James?

    Thanks Grady. This was just the bird and I at a local pond. I waited 30 minutes for the bird to get on my side for these images. I haven't had an opportunity to get out with James on his Spoonbill boat yet, but I hope to in the future if possible. Have a great one.

    Well done on the eye contact, adds something extra in this kind of image. I would crop the dark line off the bottom.
