I found this amazing family while hiking with my family, couldn't stop thinking about the them, so I had :D to skip work the following day... Built my hide on the first light and waited under a tree for the afternoon sun...
They nest underground, and the youngs have fled the nest about a week earlier.

I think the parent is pretty much done feeding the youngster. :) Great find and well done, I like the angle, light, interaction, perch, BG and sharpness. Have you tried to lighten the eyes a bit?

Gal, good eye contact and I like the calling pose of the youngster. Lovely complimentary BG.

Shalom Gal, well done for the field work. However, picture doesn't really work for me. I guess the main issue in here is the position and orientation of the perch which determined this somewhat awkward position of the two birds one behind the other.

Pretty darned spectacular. Is the young bird begging from the unconcerned adult? EXP perfect, light and BKGR sweet.

Great timing to catch the beak open. I like the perch and placement it works for me. Super bg. I might have taken a bit off the right hand side.
