I was sitting on my back porch looking through my photos on my camera and this blue jay landed on a dead elm tree near my feeder. I thought the background was interesting. Liked the blue color in the jay.

The look back pose, perch and BG looks very good.
The image look soft on my monitor, I would prefer a different cut.

Angle, BG and look-back pose look very nice. I wish the sun would have been behind you and agree with Gal about more sharpening. I could also see this as a vertical crop.

Very nice pose, perch, background. The head looks a bit soft to me - perhaps a bit of sharpening would bring out more detail. A sparkle in the eye would have helped.

When it is sunny, you can help yourself by pointing your shadow at the bird... Always. Having the white breast lit by the sun and the darker back in shadow is pretty much an impossible situation......
