Default Pair of Black Bellied Whistling Ducks

Lots of BBWD's in our area at the moment.

Question, why is there no thumbnail of my pic in the list of threads like the others? One need to be special!?

Eye contact and angle look good. I might sharpen the birds more and run NR on the BG as it looks a bit distracting.

If you upload the image to the BPN server, a thumbnail will be created. Images hosted on outside servers don't have thumbnails right now. It's in the works, though.

Axel nailed the critique. BG is a bit distracting, I wonder if you can get them in cleaner water. Do they have ducklings too?

Eric, I like how they are looking in opposite directions. The BG is quite distracting but I understand why you stopped down to f/8. If possible, a lower angle would have made it better IMO. You could have got better BG blur even at f/8.

I like the placement in the frame and the nice warm details. I think a bit of lightening on the side of the near bird would help. BG is a bit distracting. But overall a very attractive shot.
