Firstly, can any of you guys & girls ID this bird for me, as my 'Bumper S. African boys book of birds' may not be quite correct :( I am pretty sure it is part of the Starling family, but it has a black eye, so could it be Burchell's Glossy Starling?
Taken early in the morning (6.42am) in Botswana, even has a cobweb bottom left for all eagle eyed. I know the 'HA' might not be right, but any head turn to the right and the light would not have highlighted the head so well.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. :)
