Another shot of this juvenile, as promised with tail.

BG is still noisy I think what can I do to sort that please? I don't seem to be able to resolve.

Was approaching feeder to the right so left hand side of this (wire) cloned out

File re-cropped and height reset to 800 to allow file size not to be cut to 52k

    Sharpened in Topaz
De noise at 100 color 60 luminance in ACR 5

Hi Richard - doing well - like the BG - pose looks good - nice detail throughout - maybe a little over sharpened. Exposure looks good - whites are all in check.
    Good show :)

Image needs to be 800 pixels on the longest side (Max) otherwise the forum software does resize it. If you are using Photoshop - I can send you a save for BPN action that will make your life a little easier.

    Hi Lance

Probably right on the sharpening , was using a trial of Topaz:p got a bit over enthusiastic.
I'll run it again less agressively I think.

I would appreciate the "save for BPN action". Having screwed up on the size I just noticed that one has to rename image before resending so that explains why BPN server it compressed it again.
    thx

    Hi Richard

For sharpening do so on a layer so you can over doit then back down to taste, also can only sharpen the head area leaving the bg alone Try removing noise from bg, just used Noiseware Pro and then a smoothing brush.

(Yep Alfred got that, can do selective sharpening head only on copy layer, etc.)

    Nice result you got thanks

Will check out Noiseware Pro for sure.
