Default Tern Takes a Swan Dive

From the workshop. The three water droplets make this image for me.

Love the downward dorsal view, great detail, EXP, BG and yes the water droplets put this one over the top. Don't know how you managed to get this one HH with the 500 mm lens - quite a neat trick! Congrats, Doug.

Cool pose, good sharpness, BG and composition. I might lighten the eye a bit.

Great angled dive pose, and I like the full wing spread. Super all round detail, well exposed and sharp. The Tern also just pops so well from the darker water. Great capture.

What a shot. I like the angle of flight and comp. Bird is pin sharp and well exposed against a killer bg. Well done on this !

For me, it's the tension in a photo that really draws me in. And this one has plenty of tension Doug! And, as usual, the techs are spot on. The droplets add to the effect.

Love the diving pose, nice light and water droplets. Almost make me want to see the next few frames where it hits the water..
