Another example of what you can get with the right lighting conditions, this heron was captured in the late evening sun. You can see the sun reflected in his eye, very low on the horizon. I cleaned up the bg and the water a bit and did the standard adjustment layers, but otherwise as shot and cropped. I posted another version of this in ETL a few months back.
