I think I got the light right on this shot. Does this pose/light work?

Nice pelican Paul. Detail and water droplet make this a fine specimen.

The light and pose are great. I also like all the colors.....and the water droplet is a sweet bonus. There's nice detail and sharpness along the back of the bird but I see a bit of softness on the head/bill. I'm taking a guess that the point of focus was on the back. I'd select just the head and give it an extra round of USM.

Beautiful pose and details I like the little water drop falling from the bill. The background really compliments the Pelican nicely. I do see alot of noise though. Excellent Shot!!!
