Well, light was quite harsh, so I had to do a few old tricks to make some of the "harsh" less noticeable. I will share the tricks on my Blog in a few days.

The subject bird rocks with great control of the blacks and the whites. I don't mind the two birds below the subject (though everything is a bit centered with them in the middle) but the bird cut off by the frame-edge bugs me. All in all, an excellent capture.

Excellent work, Fabs, not easy to catch incoming razorbills in flight from the blind. Great detail, love the feet splayed out and fanned tail. Agree with Artie about the cut-off bird at frame bottom. TFS!

Awesome capture Fabs! I find it very difficult to have success like this when the BIF is coming toward me:(. I am viewing on my laptop and when I tip the screen, I see a slight halo? Maybe from the "harsh light" rescue attempt?

Just as I was getting ready to post one of my Razorbills in a very similar pose, you had to go and post this beauty. I think I will wait for your "tips" to see if I can improve mine to closer to yours, as yours looks so good.

Fabs, I like the angle of approach, wing spread, and you have certainly nailed the exposure. I also like the hint of the white surf in the sea BG. Well captured.

Great incoming pose and I like the inclusion of the other birds in the BG. You handled the harsh light really well.
