Dick, I will defer commenting on the important technical details to those who know more than I, but from an aesthetic perspective I really like this image. The colors are gorgeous, I like the framing and the snowy's reflection really adds nicely to the image. Most of all, I am really liking the shot as I have never personally seen an egret do this before. This makes it an interesting behavior shot for me, in addition to being beautiful.

Great action shot, tack sharp and the whites look good. Excellent work getting both the feet and the head clearly in the shot. It does appear somewhat contrasty and oversaturated to me, though.

I love it. Behavior capture is great, and water is spectacular. Someone may be concerned with the bird going away from you, but it doesn't bother me here. Whites are probably a little cooked.

Hi Dick - lots to like here - love the action and water splashes.
Just enough separation between the head and the wing and like the lovely green water.
Now if only he was flying parallel or towards you rather than away.
Still -- Like it a lot!!!!

Hi Dick Excellent image Got the peak action and mighty fine framing As noted might be a little over saturated but like it as presented, has good punch and is pleasing !!!

Hi Dick, agree with others that the action is strong and framed well. You managed to get enough detail along with nicely colored reflections.
I also like the fact the viewer can see the head which is an important element.
