Took this the same evening as the previous post. I had such fun watching this juevie chasing the feather and then finally catching it.

Having just finished working on black and white birds, the perfect exposure here really caught my eye, and the composition is striking. Thanks for sharing.

Great comp ! IMG is well exposed and sharp but the birds head looks a tad soft on my monitor ?. Well done !

Hi Judy - nailed it IMHO - exposure looks good - nice detail in the blacks.
Doesn't look soft on my screen!

Good looking chick, and very mischievous he looks. Very nice EXP control and I don't see it soft here either?

The background really sets this one off Judy. You can just see that juvenile fun factor in this bird. There may be more feather detail on the body than the head, but I think that's just a function of the finer head feathers - not sharpness. Also it's nice that you got some water ripple - creates a bit of action.

Tack sharp Judy - including the head. Lovely behavioural capture, and I like the angled posture. Your comp works well, and the feather in the youngsters beak adds a nice touch. Well captured.
