Taken in the rain and low light in the Santa Cruz Highlands, Galapagos in May, on the way to the airport at the end of our trip. Had to crawl through the wet vegetation along the pond bank to get this, just after the chicks climbed onto the rock and were shaking to get the water off. Mom's HA may get me arrested, but she was concentrating on her brood. Managed to get a few shots, but this was the only one with eyes visible (more-or-less) on all 4 birds. C&C welcomed and appreciated.

Hi Bill, Good story telling image. The HA doesn't bother me here due to her watching her brood along with being well exposed and sharp. Good effort...

Hey Bill, IMO the effort to get this shot was worth it! I like how they are all on the rock with their wet feathers.
