Made me laugh out loud. Just an adorable image of this chick trying out his wings. I think that the head angle is fine as he is defiantly making eye contact with you and that fuzz is cute as can be. I bet this would hold great appeal to children.
This is too cute Denise, loved the expo, nice pose and setting, the BG works great.. nicely done..
Denise, really cute, this guy is. Loved the exposure, shallow DOF and the pose.
Hello Denis,
I really didn't know that the Magnificient Fregatebird are so white!!! I knew however that the juvenile have chest and head white (with beak and legs pale blue). We recognize easily the beak shape of the Fregatebird... I really like your composition and pov. You also managed greatly the exposition and I like also that colored bg bringing colors (with the green leaves) to the whole pic.
Very nice and well done ! TFS!

Denise:
Nice techs, better story. Makes me smile. The little engine that could, I think I can, I think I can. Charming
Randy
Thank you folks., I appreciate you taking a look.
Hey Denise, that must surely be a show off pose just for you. I like the fluffiness of the little guy, well exposed with sharp detail on the head. Killer BG.

very cute Denise, when I saw these magnificent! birds I was wondering what the chicks would look like and now I know thanks to you!

Stuart and Arash, Thank you for the kind words. It was truly a pleasure to see all the different chicks that I saw on the trip.
I remember that you found a great spot for this one with a sweet BKGR. Removed two more branches for the repost likely including the extension of the one that you removed. Love the white fluffiness too.

Jeez, I almost forgot: I checked with Juan on a similar image. Frigatebird chicks with the orange on the face are Great Frigatebirds. (I had made the same mistake.)

Sorry I'm late to the party. How do you feel about this crop?
I love the subject matter and technical. IMO this crop is a little more balanced.
Thanks James for taking the time to repost this. The crop looks good.
