Had the setting sun right in the birds eye, I had to tone down the sat and brightness in the eye.

Super image, that eye draws me right in to it. Personal choice regarding the composition, but might the composition be a little stronger if the rule of thirds were followed more closely here? (With the eye more in the upper right crash point?)

    Kiran:

Well exposed, sharp, nice pose, BG and interesting perch, with nice leading line into the frame.
    Great eye.

    Cheers

Killer shot for sure. Loved the pose, light and the perch. If anything, I'd crop a bit from below. But quite spectcular as-is too.

    Hello Kiran,

Wow! What a great shot!!! Everything is great for me: the nice bg, the bird posture, the charming composition, the perfect mastering of the exposition and this eye so intense!!!

I'm surprised that nobody ask you about its name and the location where you photographed it...?

    Cheers and TFS,

    Michel

Magnificent creature portrayed in good light, with a good perch, great EXP control and sharpness.

Top drawer as usual Kiran. These Black-shouldered Kites are SOOO photogenic. Like the line of the perch.
