    Default Lioness in Wait

This image was taken a couple of years ago at Lion Country Safari, prior to their install the cyclone fence between the lions and the visitors. It was one of the last non fence images I was able to get. Now I have to time it to miss the fence reflections.

Modifications included; Topaz Adjust and adjustments in CS4.

    Enjoy!

Mark, The mixed lighting is a bit distracting even with the theme. Nice pose, does seem a tiny bit tight on top.

Mark, Nice pose and composition. I find the mixed lighting a little distracting as Denise mentioned, though not too much. I like the color tones.

I also like the pose and tones...wonder what it would look like frameless? or just with the thin white border...keep them coming Mark

Hi Mark, a little contrasty across the face but the image is good for the theme. I would likely take the upper left corner and bring it to black. Seems a little tight on the right with the ear touching the frame. Nice colors and I like that gaze.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Paul, as you know, I like frames. I appreciate your comment and no problem with it. However, to me ... personally, unframed images are unfinished images. I've been experimenting a little with colored matt areas lately and not sure if they all work, but ... that is why they are posted! ;):D Make A Great Day! ;)

Like the pose and the lighting Mark, just wish for more clarity on the right eye. But it does well for the theme.
