    Default Evening Egret Flight

Captured in the late evening light, in front of some nice shade. Tiny bit of cleanup in the bg, then levels and hue/saturation layers. Routine sharpening and so forth. No filters.

Lovely detail in this, really suits the theme and beautiful to view. Might be tempted to tone down the highlight spot on the left wing.

The near wing looks like ivory. The bill is a bit lost in the black BKGR.

Kerry, I love the black BG. The stick and bill do get a bit lost but I think with the theme that is okay. Nice details and I like the comp. very much.

Beautiful pose, Kerry, and I love the evening lighting. Personally I wish the bill and feet didn't get lost, and I would also tone down the highlight spot on the left wing as Hilary suggested.

Nice pose Kerry, like the black on white, and really like the colour of the bird.
