Don't they eat until the spectators are gone? I waited for around 15 min for this bird to take a bite so that i can click
him while cutting his prey...but no luck..

Hi Ajay, Nice lighting with good detail throughout the bird. The bird is well positioned and I like the trace of clouds in the backround. In a perfect world I would of liked a more natural perch and a better view of the prey.
Based on the situation you handled it well...

Handsome bird. Nice sharp detail, and great eye. Ditto Dave's comments; plus, but of sharpening halo around the bird.

Hi - Good eyes Bill - also see the Halo - over sharpening or S/H tool will cause this.

Perch is what it is - does look a tad oversharpened to my eyes.
    Keep em coming :)

Exposure looks good and good eye contact. Agree looks like oversharpen halo which cause slight cookie cutter look. Might crop off the bottom to elimiante some of the perch
