This pair of black-winged stilt (Himantopus himantopus) is from one of my favourite birding places in the southwest of Spain, Marismas del Odiel (Huelva). This image is from the same spot of my last picture of flamingos and just a few minutes later. The light was amazing that day and I enjoyed a lot. This ones is cropped with the in-camera High Speed Crop mode (6Mp) of the D2X and I selected a panoramic format for a more pleasant presentation. As always, your comments and critics are highly appreciated.

Nikon D2X (HSC mode) AFS Nikkor 300VR+1,4XTC handheld (no hide) Sorry, no EXIF data here (I am at the office now and I will post the EXIF later, when at home)

I think this is a wonderful shot Juan, both birds look pretty sharp and I think the pano works pretty well for this one:)

You have done well to show detail on those black wings. We have a lot of these guys in South Africa too. This is pin sharp, and well captured.
