Scouting a new property for workshops in SE Arizona with Scott Elowitz and Rick Bowers, we found a good shooting situation with nice evening light.

Wow ! How did you shoot this? Near the nest? Track and pan ?

If I participate in your workshop, will I get an image like that afterwards? :p:p

Alan guarantees that but only if you study the Songbird Set-up Guide first! From the hanging feet to the raised wings to the SH to the BKGR all is perfect. My guess is that this is a manual pre-focus takeoff-job....

Nice image. Tack sharp head, great background and comp, and I like the wing position.

Wow Alan that is absolutely stunning. Love the eye contact and the feet position - must have just taken off?

Nothing get's by Artie :-) Yes, this was a manual pre-focus take off shot.

Alan, light is great here. Excellent wing position and those dangling feet add a lot here IMO. Thx for sharing. A bit surprised at the freeze at 1/320 SS.

What a shot of these fast buggers. Great sharpness and comp. Exposure spot on against a killer bg. Well done Alan !!!!
