I believe this is a juvenile African Goose. In-camera effect, cloned out (actually patched out) some light spots in the bg and on the water. Used curves and h/s layers.

    Nice image and application, Kerry.

Interesting bird ... nice pose. Only thing that stikes me is, I wish the tip of the bill were a little more defined, but that is minor it is there ... just not all there! ;)

Kerry, You are the king of this theme! I love the details and lighting. I might tone down the whites just a bit so they don't draw your eye as much. I also might take a small slice off the left if it were mine. Reminds me of a Greater White- fronted goose.

Very nice, Kerry. You're too good at this chiaroscuro effect! :) Love the pose and lighting. Would just take a slice off the left as Denise suggested.

Kerry, I find this extraordinarily beautiful … the pose of the goose which seems to be saying "look at me" and the wonderful ripples in the water.

Nice pose Kerry, I might try more S/H to increase the effect. Think a crop from the left might make it more off center and stronger.
