Thought I'd post one of my favorite( and most obliging) bird as the 2000th post. Thanks everyone for all the help.

40D. 400f5.6L wide open. iso 400. 1/320s. hand-held. almost full-frame.

Thx everyone. I can crop this as sqaure but I liked this more than square. There isn't much room below in orig. I could have made this in-camera vertical but I could not have got the full legs. I looks a bit odd with the legs clipped. I did back up and make some other shots including verticals. But he did not give this pose or nice HA again :-)
