    ISO 800 on D300, great way of handling the noise.

    All around great Dave. Pose, exposure, light, and sharpness. Behaviour a plus. Really nice.

    Hi Dave - nailed it - IMHO!
    The open shell and the food in the beak - tell such a good story - love the low shooting angle. Exposure looks great.

    fine shot Dave, bird with a catch is often but the shell is adding a much to the story....

    Sweet bird and like it as presented Catching them with a meal makes if special ... they are good at opening those shells !!

    Lovely capture Dave. I like the composition here, that you've got the bird with the food in it's mouth and the shell nearby.
