    Default Galapagos Cactus

    Attached Images Attached Images

I took this grouping of cactus while on the Galapagos trip. Trying hard to get low at just the right height to include the blue BG and avoid most of the other distracting objects. I added my mini-world tutorial that you can find on my blog if you scroll down to the bottom of my Galapagos post. I posted it here on BPN quite a while ago but maybe some of the new members would like to try it.
I added Topaz Simplify to the image to soften the look a bit.

Nice composition, Denise. Love the colors and details. The cactus works well for the miniworld.

Lovely symmetry in this image and pleasing tones.

Really cool mini world Denise! I like the colors and texture of the cacti. If it were mine I would probably work the corners into solid color, as this one has a graphic quality to it that would be enhanced by that. Very nice.

    Nice image and application, Denise.

It's been a while since we did the minis. ;)

Good PP Denise, can't see a seam of any kind. Did well in the original capture to get this. Like it as presented, but agree that a darker colour would probably make it "pop" a bit more.

Nice mini-world, Denise. Perfect subject for it! I love the complementary colors. I think I would make the whole BG a slightly darker blue.
