It's been a long time I posted anything and not really participated in conversations due to busy times behind me. I was blocked by launching the Shorebird Mapping Project and preparation of the new shorebird conservation foundation, the WorldWaders. Exciting time indeed.
On the other hand the lack of photographic gear kept away from forums. I am back soon to the team.
I share an image here I smiled a lot on. Too funny what settings error one can make and yet having an acceptable image. Here are the settings on this: Canon EOS-1D Mark II N l EF600mm f/4L IS USM +1.4x l 840mm l ISO 160 l -0.67ev l f/7.1 l 1/50 (!!!) l No flash used. l AP priority. :D
Very nicely done, wish for a bit more space on top and would probably mask the sharpening off the feet and perch a bit. Beautiful bird and calling pose and glad to have you posting again, You are missed!
Nice head angle and singing pose. And soft light. A vertical would have been perfect. Getting rid of the vegetation would be an attractive option.
