This was from my workshop with Denise yesterday at Nickerson beach. We had a great group and with partially overcast skies.....kept the whites mostly in check a little while longer!

This fight broke out a bit later in the day and was at full speed quickly! I was concentrating on the fights, so I was prepared but wished I had gone vert......so wouldn't have to crop from horizontal....still happy overall as most of the frames had some clipping......3 without and happened to be my favorite pose!

Canon 1D Mark lll with the 100-400mm lens at 400mm and f8 for 1/2000sec. and ISO 800 HH. Cropped to vert from horizontal.

Hey Roman, if only the far wings had touched, you would have captured a great shape. Nevertheless, still excellent timing to capture the action, and I like the overall exposure.

Terrific action in soft loth, great whites and not over-saturated. Way to go.

Superb shot Roman. There is a sensor dirt spot just below the left wing primary feathers of the bird on top, or the right wing primaries of the bird below.

Great capture Roman. I have few but I was at 100mm and think I was too far for anything worthwhile to save. Great day at Nickerson!
