    Still going through some older images.
    This grackle from last summer.
    A bit undecided on a crop with that strong diagonal branch.
    Too tight on the tail?

    Dave, I think this is an awesome image! Great detail and excellent exposure. I would like to see it as a vertical crop, I think there is too much branch leading off to the right,and a vertical might help that. And, yep--too tight on the tail for me.

    Excellent color and detail ! Nicely done !

    Agree that vertical may work better for this pose/perch.

    I find this image excellent. Love the details. Very interesting coloration.
    Sure the perch is not the fanciest but it doesn't bother me at all. Like it as composed.

    The soft light really helps with the plumage. The BG is nice, too. I might give it a bit more space top and bottom.
