It does ,ooh like a juvenile with those pin feathers on the head, Rich. I would suggest cropping a little from above and adding to the left to decentralise the bird. This looks like a significant crop with reduced IQ and noise showing as a result.
I think this is an adult just starting to go in to moult and with worn head feathers from constantly going in and out of the nest hole. This is not a good time of year for photographing the resident passerines are they are generally looking a bit tatty.
Agree with the points regarding bird position and IQ. The image would also be improved with some head turn towards the camera to improve connection between viewer and bird.
