Default i1 display 2 calibration query

After setting the contrast to 100% and pressing start nothing seems to happen (other than the software locates the position of the puck). I get the little pop-up window but the indicator is always in the middle of the contrast range and there is no option to ‘measure’. The only option is to ‘Stop’ - is this correct?

Hi Roy, I have Eye 1 Match, and used to do it manually. After watching a pro do it, she just used auto, and that's the way I do it now. Seems that when I did it manually I was able to adjust it. Maybe the contrast is set correctly.

Hi Jackie, if I set the contrast to 5% 50% or 100% it still shows that it is in the target - this cannot be right.

Why not try auto. What type of monitor are you using?

Interesting, what kind of monitor do you use? It looks as if the software does not take the contrast setting into account.

Jackie: by Auto I assume you mean 'easy' mode, I have tried this before and it gives poor results IMO.

I am using a CRT - I have just re-installed the software and it appears to be working OK now. Calibrating up great now

I was going to suggest re-installing. I am lazy and use Easy, works OK for me.
