    Default Linnet

Went out this morning and saw these linnets. Canon eos 30d with canon 300mm f4 with canon 1,4 extender, f6.3, 1/500e, tripod.

Man, this guy is on a nest-building mission! Love the habitat, and separation between FG and BG. I'd crop a bit at right and top for a stronger comp.

    What are the techs?

Nicely framed between two of the upright grasses, and that sure is a beakful of nesting material. I like how he is looking into space, but can see this as a vertical too.

I like the wide crop, light, setting and that really is a lot of nesting material. Is there a very slight magenta cast?

Thanks for the comments. Edit the post now with the techs.

@Axel, that could be right. I wanted to show the early morning light, but it is maybe a bit too much magenta indeed.
