    Hi and welcome to the forum. You caught some good action and I can see some detail in the lighter areas. The image is very tight with a slight clipped tail. I would like more room in the rear and in the front of the subject. IMO to better balance the image I would have less room on top and more on the bottom. A lower shooting angle might also have been preferable.......

    Thanks for the suggestions Dave. I wish I could have gotten lower, but I was worried because the bird was close to some grass, that you can see in the reflection on the water. I thought that if I was to crouch down, I would include the grass which would result in more photoshop work afterwards...LOL

    Hi - agree with Dave - common saying round here is - If its worth including - its worth including all of it.
    Clipped back end is a shame - do like the action and the water splash - colours look good.
    A lower shooting angle would have been preferable but not always possible.
    Keep em coming :)
